The Retro-Code vintage computer programming challenge is a new feature at the Vintage Computer Festival.
The object is simple: write the best game on the personal computer of your choice within 2 hours. At the end of the coding period, the games will be judged by a panel of randomly chosen VCF attendees and the game most liked by attendees will be deemed the Retro-Code Champion!
The competition is open to any and all personal computers. Challengers should be prepared to bring the personal computer of their choice to the VCF. Space will be provided for them to setup their computer.
The game must be an original creation written from scratch at the VCF. No storage media of any kind will be allowed into the contest area that is not supplied by the VCF. Contestants may bring along any reference manuals or books they wish.
The contest will be held on Saturday of the VCF with coding beginning at 3:00pm and ending at 5:00pm.
If you wish to compete in the Retro-Code challenge, please fill in the following form. You will be subsequently contacted to discuss the details of the competition.
