The Vintage Computer Festival gladly welcomes your donation of vintage computer hardware, software, manuals, books, magazines and ephemera such as t-shirts, posters, etc. Your contributions will be added to the Vintage Computer Festival Archives where they will serve future generations in the research and education of computers and computer history.

The VCF will gladly cover all shipping charges for any of the above items.
While we appreciate any offer of old computers, we are no longer interested in the more common machines that were produced since the 1980s. Specifically, we have more Commodore 64 computers than we know what to do with. We are not at all interested in common PC clones (see below for recycling options). However, we are still interested in old computer books, manuals, magazines and software for any platform, with special emphasis on mini- and mainframe computers.
If you are not in the San Francisco Bay Area, here are some suggestions for where to donate:
- For machines less than 5 years old: a local school or church
- For machines of any age: the engineering department of a local college
- A local charity such as The Salvation Army or Goodwill
