Q. What is the Vintage Computer Festival? A. The Vintage Computer Festival (VCF) is a celebration of computers and their history.  It features a series of speakers and workshops, an exhibit of vintage computers, a flea market for the vintage computer collector, and special events such as the Nerd Trivia Challenge™. Q. Who founded the Vintage Computer Festival? A. The VCF was founded by Sellam Ismail. Q. How often is the event held? A. The main VCF event is held on a yearly basis in the Fall at a location in the Silicon Valley. Sister events are being organized in different parts of the world. VCF Europa is now being held on a yearly basis in Munich, Germany. Q. When was the first VCF held? A. VCF 1.0 was held on October 26th & 27th, 1997, at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, California. Around 150 people attended the first event. The VCF has been held continuously every year since then, and on April 29th & 30th, 2000, the first ever European VCF was held in Munich, Germany. Q. When is the next VCF being held? A.
